Another contribution for troop treats...

Paul and Jennifer made a $50 contribution for treats for our troops, so our hero SFC Ron Winning and his fellow tankers are going to be getting two care packages. I spent $36; I meant to leave enough to cover the postage for both boxes, but... more

Good morning Tracy and friends. Hope everyone had a good weekend. Ours was a good one but very busy, Had two cook outs, yea both at my house, magine that. One to celebrate Joeys New Job. He starts today on base. But then he already knows everyone so that is a good thing. The second was just to eat and drink some Coor's Lite. LTU MT JOE.

I can't even imagine what that would be like. I have neighbors who have 2 sons in Iraq.( One in Army Guard and one full time Army) I think one just got home about the time my son left . The one was out in the field and had to do that and the other had it better on base , my son is on a base though he did have to do the training for combat...I guess they all need to train and be ready if they should need them . He does have to get out in the heat for his job though on generators

Yeah, I haven't complained about the heat here either. I just think about our guys and gals over there wearing full gear and riding around in armored vehicles with no AC or walking miles and miles in the heat and sun, and think to myself "98 degrees feels pretty cool..." I'm glad your son got the letter; he should be getting the CD slideshow shortly; I mailed them pretty close together. It's good to hear he's doing well; I know it did your heart good to hear his voice! Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers every day. Love and hugs to you {{{{{{Cheryl}}}}}}

Hi Tracy , I just wanted to stop in and say hello because it's been awhile I know..But I want to let you know also my son got the letter you sent. He called on the phone today. He has 15 mins at a time he can talk. Thank you !
It sure was good to hear his voice. He got the care package I sent him ok too it really didn't take too long.
Also he was sad about not taking his guitar over there but he said he's playing bass at the chapel services and I was happy to hear that because he loves guitar ! Must be someones guitar he's using anyways that is neat!

What do you mean you did not hear me yelling YES on Monday? I got calls from Pa to hold the noise down. TEE TEE. They checked in yesterday to say they were home. They had a few stops to make on the way back. Yep We got Hot water again. I hope this does not turn into a pattern with the son. He has something go wrong and it is passed on to me. LTU MT JOE.
